Am I crazy or are these parents just a little nuts…

The parents of a bride-to-be told their daughter they were taking her on a shopping trip, but then drove to Colorado and kept her there until she missed the nuptials, officials said.

Yup it’s the old let go shopping trick, works every time… In any case, what’s up with these parents, could they not have objected to this union in the old fashion way? Would have made a pretty powerful statement if the father of the bride says ‘Take a hike boy’ when the priest asks does any one object, the groom would probably piss himself.

The couple, both students at Brigham Young University, were married in the temple on August 8, Myers said. They are expecting their first child in May.
